Who I Am

I am a triple boarded physician who splits my time between patient care, research, and other projects. I completed a dual residency in pediatrics and internal medicine, giving me both a broad and deep clinical experience. I subsequently completed a specialty fellowship in Allergy & Immunology. I see patients with a variety of conditions including asthma, environmental allergies (hay fever), atopic dermatitis (eczema), medication allergies, and immune system defects. My approach to patient care centers around patient and family education and ensuring needs are met.

Outside of the clinic, I am active in the digital health space as well as with clinical process improvement. I have led cross-disciplinary teams through multiple digital health projects ranging from digital monitoring in asthma to designing and implementing patient-facing chatbots. I have contributed to Epic/EHR redesigns and am in the process of completing the Physician Builder curriculum. I have also worked directly with CMOs and a variety of clinical staff on healthcare process improvement projects. I am currently completing a Master of Management in Clinical Informatics at Duke which is a hybrid of MBA and Informatics curricula that will lead to Clinical Informatics board eligibility.

I'm driven to improve patient care and create a more efficient health system by leveraging my clinical experience, technical skills, and leadership abilities to solve complex problems. I firmly believe that creating solutions should start with understanding stakeholder needs and that this approach is underutilized in the healthcare industry.
